Thursday 11 December, 2025 – Hilary Cass met with NHS Sheffield Children’s Foundation Trust about a new service model based on The Cass Review.

Activists with the help of an anonymous source, gained access to a meeting between Hilary Cass and the NHS Sheffield Children's Foundation Trust. They recorded the 57 minute long meeting and uploaded it for the public.

Activist released a view on their social media (as seen on top) with soundbites from the meeting and voice overs from activists explaining that they got access.

During the meeting Hilary Cass has shown a graphic (found below) and she said: "People want simple answers, on one side was it's all social contagion and people need to pull themselves together, Some people said, all of these young people were born trans and they were being denied, medical care.

"Other people were saying, it's all about, trauma or confusion about sexual orientation. And none of those really simple explanations really cover it.

"It's much more complex, much more nuanced, than that and so attempts to oversimplify are really really unhelpful"

She said in the meeting there was no evidence of suicidality of trans young people however the Good Law Project released an article proving otherwise. (article found here)
